☆ About Silverlake Jams

Silverlake Jams is an LA-based cultural brand and community that brings people together over live music. What began as a backyard concert in 2021 has grown into a consistently sold-out monthly experience where 200 people gather to discover independent artists and meet their neighbors.

Queer woman-founded and led, Silverlake Jams just celebrated 5 years and been featured by Los Angeles Magazine & STERN. Our mission is simple: make LA smaller, one show at a time.

☆ About the Role

We are looking for an independent, cinematic-minded content creator to join our day-of events team for October & November Jams.

You’ll help us document the magic of Silverlake Jams, spotlight remarkable emerging artists, and tell the larger story of a community that brings strangers together through art.

You have experience creating cinematic content that tells stories & performs successfully. You’re passionate about preserving independent music, local art & culture.

☆ Requirements

• Ability to execute extensive shots list, including both candid and interactive content with artists & guests.
• Must have a new iPhone or camera equivalent to take stabilized, high-quality footage.
• Available from 5:30pm on 10/24 & 11/14
• You must airdrop all videos at the end of the evening
